What Should I Wear?

I recommend you wear modest clothing. We want the photos to highlight YOU and be representative of your unique qualities and beauty years from now. I specifically suggest solid color tops and long pants. Please stay away from loud or distracting logos, colors or patterns. I'd love to photograph you in your prom dress or athletic wear too!

How Can I Be Unique?

I'd love to include your hobbies and interests. Please bring along any musical instruments, cars, or other passions that you'd like to highlight in your senior photos.

Should I Hire Someone for Hair and Make up?

I'd recommend that you lean towards the natural side. If you usually wear make-up, you may want to apply it a little darker for the photo session. Your hair should look kept and tidy. However, I do smooth skin, whiten teeth, remove blemishes, etc. in all of our portrait packages.

Should Parents Come Along to Help?

Parents are welcome at senior portrait sessions, however, I usually ask for some alone time to ensure that models feel comfortable and not embarrassed to be in front of an audience. We often encourage parents to scope out the location, wait in the car with a book, etc.

How Do We Get the Picture to the yearbook?

One of two ways: 1. You have the electronic files to the photos, so you may submit the photo yourself 2. If you share the email with us, we will gladly email it to the yearbook representative for your high school.

Where Will the Sessions Take Place?

We specialize in outdoor and natural light photography. We will be shooting in picturesque outdoor locations in the Madison area such as Olbrich Gardens, the UW-Arboretum, Pope Farms, Burke Park, etc. Senior Photographer in Madison Senior Photographer in Middleton Senior Photographer in Waunakee
